CHRISTOPHER B. DALE – President and CEO

Christopher Dale is President and CEO of The Apex Technology Group, Inc. and has 24 years of technical and leadership experience in the IT industry. Chris founded Apex in 1998 and the company is based in Providence, RI. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a M.S. in Telecommunications Management, both from The University of Maryland. 

Prior to Apex, Chris was Director – Technology Solutions for AT&T Solutions. While at AT&T, Chris was responsible for all engineering, operations and sales activities for the 1.2 billion outsourcing deal with Textron. 

From 1993 to 1995, Chris was VP-Telecommunications for Shawmut Bank. Chris managed a division of 150 personnel through a team of 12 direct reports. Shawmut Bank was merged into Fleet Bank in 1995 and Chris served as VP-Telecommunications for the combined banks until 1997. 

ANTHONY VERRILL – Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Anthony Verrill is currently serving in the capacity of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at The Apex Technology Group (Apex). He has had that role since October of 2001. His areas of responsibility include overseeing systems design, engineering and integration services. He also assists in pre-sales support, Cabling RFP writing and new technology initiatives. Prior to serving as the CTO at Apex, Anthony held the same position at Partner Communications in North Haven, CT. There, he held largely the same responsibilities as at Apex from July of 1997 to September 2001. 

From January of 1991 to January of 1997 Anthony served as the Director of Information Systems for Advancement at the University of Rhode Island (URI). Responsibilities included the support of URI’s advancement information services, gathering information for all capital campaigns and fundraising efforts, converting legacy databases to new ADVANCE system and developing database and network policy. Other responsibilities included sitting on the University Computing and Communications Committee, which was responsible for the University’s 10 million dollar technology initiative, and guiding several colleges with their hardware and software purchases. 

Anthony holds these certifications, Microsoft Certified Professional Windows NT Server 4.0, Microsoft Certified Professional Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Design Associate, and 3COM Layer 3 Switching.

 BRIAN D. HUBERT – Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Brian Hubert is currently serving in the capacity of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Apex Technology Group (Apex). His areas of responsibility include overseeing systems design, engineering and integration services. He also assists in pre-sales support and internal technology initiatives. Prior to serving as the CIO at Apex, Brian was a private contractor and a Senior Network Architect at Mountain Computer Support in Coventry, CT. While at Mountain, he designed and implemented many networks that took advantage of the latest technology innovations at the time, such as Layer 3 switching, quality of service and content filtering. 

At Xerox Connect and CompuCom, Brian had the privilege of working for some of the United States’ largest companies. Fleet Bank, John Hancock, and Staples all provided great opportunities to Brian to develop his knowledge of enterprise network design. Brian has managed large client rollouts, very large Microsoft Windows NT deployments and complicated network migrations. 

Brian has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Rhode Island. There, he had a dual concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems. He is currently certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and an Aruba Wireless Engineer (ACDX).

 ANTHONY T. LOVETERE – Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Tony is responsible for managing all Apex operations including Engineering, Help Desk, Projects and Customer Support Center to ensure exceptional service for Apex clients. Prior to Apex, Tony was the Manager of Northeastern Operations at Wayport, Inc. He was responsible for the New England deployment and support of Wayport’s high speed Internet access. 

From 1985 to 1999 Tony was at Fleet Boston Financial as Associate Vice President in their Technology Solutions division. Tony successfully managed the bank’s largest network deployment as well as other complex infrastructure projects.  Tony also managed Fleet Bank’s Field services division, responsible for supporting the bank’s growing footprint. Managing Field Services gave Tony the opportunity to manage over 120 staff members in 7 regional areas.
